Cai
Chiropractor

Hi, I’m Cai, a Nottingham-born chiropractor who recently returned home after several years living and working in London. I hold a Master’s degree in Chiropractic and now practise here at Sherwood Chiropractic Clinic.
I work with many types of joint, muscle or nerve related issues, including people experiencing back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headaches, shoulder problems and injuries that are affecting work, exercise or everyday life. Many of the people I see spend long hours at a desk, have physically demanding jobs or are dealing with pain that has been recurring or hanging around longer than expected.
My style is calm, thorough and straightforward. I want you to understand what I think is happening, what we can realistically work on and why we are choosing a particular approach. Depending on your needs, care may include chiropractic adjustments, joint mobilisation, soft tissue therapy, dry needling, taping, rehabilitation exercises and practical advice. My aim is to help you feel more confident using your body again, rather than simply chasing every area that feels tight.
Before becoming a chiropractor, I spent several years touring internationally as a musician. A back injury during that time first introduced me to chiropractic care and eventually led me to retrain. That experience gives me a particular understanding of the physical demands placed on musicians and people working in creative industries. It remains a special interest of mine, but you certainly do not need to be a musician to come and see me.
Outside the clinic, I still play music, watch far too many films and put too much hot sauce on almost everything.
I am registered with the General Chiropractic Council and am a member of the British Chiropractic Association.
